Privacy policy

The app saves a few things on the device so a child can pick up where they left off. All of it stays in the app's own storage on that device:

• the machine your child built: its body, colour, wheels, eyes and costume
• a name for the machine, if your child types one
• points earned, which upgrades have been bought, and which room is next
• settings: sound on or off, and which extras appear in a room

Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no account, so there is nothing to sign out of and nothing to recover.

• no accounts, no sign-in, no email address
• no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising
• no third-party SDKs of any kind
• no camera, microphone, photo library, contacts or location access
• no in-app purchases and no advertising to children
• no network requests at all: the app works fully offline

Your child can type a name for their machine. It is the only place in the app where anything can be typed. That name is stored on the device with the rest of the machine, is limited to 14 characters, and is never transmitted. We never see it.

This app is made for young children, including autistic children. It is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and with Apple's Kids Category rules. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for a parent to review, correct or request the deletion of. Deleting the app removes everything it saved.

Anything in the app intended for an adult sits behind a parental gate.

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this page will say so plainly before that version ships.
